Relay For Life Event May 16th

We will be part of a craft show on May 16th at Clara Byrd Baker Elementary School in Williamsburg to help raise money for the CBB Relay for Life Team.  Come out and support a great cause and see some great people and artists there as well.

We are set up at the LESC (Langley Enlisted Spouses Club) and ready for day two. We wound rope lights through the shelves and you can see the tops of our new water bottles sitting there in their gloriousness. I’m not sure we will ever get the lights untangled, but it is worth it. If you’re in Williamsburg, we have another show tomorrow at the Norge Dental Center. Live music and fun for all. 1- 5 pm. Let’s hope for good weather - it is suppsed to be an outdoor show! (if it rains, we will move inside the office, but I’ll be too distracted by the laughing gas to get anything done…)

BizBaz was a rousing success. Our travel mugs and child tumblers sold like veritable hot cakes (if veritable hot cakes still sell well)! Super special thanks to our worker bees AH and CW for fabulous bows, memo boards, pony holders, and (of course) key fobs aplenty. We had fun, and now we get to restock for the Children’s Festival in Hampton in a week and a half.

The new hotness in memo board technology! Square and fabulous. We are gearing up for Bizarre Bazaar this weekend. If you are in the Richmond area, head over to the raceway Friday - Sunday and come see us. We may all be napping at the booth, but we are pretty light sleepers…

We’re at the Happening at the Forest (in the Wibdsor Forest clubhouse in Williamsburg) today. Last night was Ladies’ Night and we had food, shoppers, and adult beverages aplenty. It was a good time and a really great show. I was put in charge of music so we definitely listened to “Dominick the Italian Christmas Donkey” last night! Even though the photo is dark, our booth is really fun.

We are set up at Langley AFB for the OSC Bazaar. Listening to Christmas carols with fighter jets taking off in the background is an entirely unique experience for me. I’d invite anyone to attend, but security is pretty tight around here. I’m pretty sure that I signed away my first-born child to get in here, but I think the first one might just be for practice anyway, right?

We’re at the Poquoson Seafood Festival this weekend enjoying our new leak-free tent! The smell of crab and French fries is torture - it smells so good but is so not fitting into my Weight Watchers plan.

Colonial Greyhound Association
We got both of our puppies (who are not puppies at all, really) through these guys. They are wonderful! The collars I’m making for them will help them rescue and place more dogs in loving homes. All sales will benefit the CGA and that makes me so very happy!
My new line of Martingale collars is off to a good start. This is the Halloween one (and yes, there are greyhounds in costume on the ribbon). I only have to finish the display board and a few more models by October 12 for the annual Colonial Greyhound Association gathering. Sleep is not all that important, right?
